Dr. Randy G. Jones

Dr. Jones is a graduate of NC State University. He received a BS in Animal Science in 1981 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. Dr. Jones practiced in Kinston at Riverbank Animal Hospital from 1985 to 1995. He started Livestock Veterinary Services in 1996. Dr. Jones completed the Executive Veterinarian Certificate program at the University of Illinois in 2008. He is a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Swine Veterinarians, American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He is married to Beth Jones, and they have two children and one grandchild.

Dr. Robert C. Sexton

Dr. Sexton is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He received a BS in Animal Science in 2000 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Sexton has been with Livestock Veterinary Services since 2003 and became an owner in 2008. He is a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Swine Veterinarians, and American Veterinary Medical Association. He is married to Courtney Sexton and has three children and two grandchildren.

Dr. Harrison Dudley

Dr. Dudley is a graduate of NC State University as a Park Scholar. He received his BS in Animal Science in 2008 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. Dudley practiced large animal medicine for 2 years following graduation and then became faculty at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in the Ruminant Health Management Group in 2014. He worked as an ambulatory clinician, lecturer, and extension specialist focusing on beef cattle production and reproduction. Dr. Dudley joined Livestock Veterinary Services in 2018. He is a member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the Society for Theriogenology. Dr. Dudley was born and raised in Nash County, NC. He and his wife Leigh-Ann have two sons, Mason and Caden.

Beth Jones

Business Manager

Beth is a graduate of Campbell University. She received a degree in Biology in 1983. Her previous work includes NC Park Service, Hyde County Health Department, and Lenoir County Health Department. Beth has been the business manager for Livestock Veterinary Services since 1996. She has been active in Cub Scouts, NC Junior Angus, and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. She is married to Dr. Randy Jones, and they have two children and one grandchild.

Melissa Rouse

Veterinary Administrative Assistant

Melissa is a graduate of Lenoir Community College. She received an AAS in Medical Office Administration in 2016, an AAS in Medical Office Billing and Coding in 2021, and an AAS in Office Administration in 2022. Melissa joined Livestock Veterinary Services in September of 2023. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Her previous work includes administrative support for a hospice agency, a gastroenterologist, and a family medicine practice. Melissa loves animals and enjoys spending time with her son, Nathan.
